Made to last. Easy to care for
What we use, how to keep it good, and what the lifetime warranty actually covers.
Surgical-grade steel, plated in 18k gold.
Every piece starts as 316L surgical-grade stainless steel.
We plate it in 18k gold at thicker-than-industry-standard depth. That's the bit that means we can offer a lifetime colour warranty when most brands offer 90 days, if any.
Three things that make a difference.
01. Wipe after wear
A soft cloth or microfibre, nothing fancy. Sweat and skin oils are the main thing that dulls plating over time. A quick wipe at the end of the day keeps pieces looking new.
02. Store separately
Pieces scratch each other if they're loose in a drawer or thrown in a bag. A small pouch, a compartmented box, or even a folded soft cloth between pieces works.
03. Perfume first, jewellery last
Spray perfume, apply lotion, wait two minutes, then put your pieces on. Stops chemicals from sitting on the plating and breaking it down over time.
If it ever loses its shine, we replace it.
No proof-of-purchase gymnastics, no warranty window to remember, no fine print designed to wriggle out of it. If your piece loses its gold colour, we send a new one.
Quick answers.
Can I shower in it?
Yes. Our pieces are waterproof. Showering, swimming, washing your hands, sweating at the gym, all fine. Just wipe dry afterwards to extend the life of the plating.
Will it turn my skin green?
No. The base is surgical-grade steel, not brass or cheaper alloys. No green marks, no allergic reactions, even for sensitive skin.
What if it tarnishes within a few months?
That's what the warranty is for. Email us with your order number and we'll send a replacement. No questions, no return required.
Can I sleep in it?
You can, though we'd recommend taking pieces off for sleep. Tossing and turning can pull on chains and scratch finishes against pillows. Five-second job, saves a lot of wear.
Is the gold real?
It's 18k gold plating over surgical steel, not solid gold. The plating is thicker than industry standard, which is what the lifetime warranty's there to back up.
